Registration Fees
The early bird registration fee for participating in the SDO Workshop 2018 is 350EUR. This includes access to all sessions and coffee breaks, to the welcome reception, and to the conference dinner. Deadline for early registration fee is September 26, 2018 at 23:59 UTC.
For late registrations (payments arriving after September 26 or on-site) the rate is increased to 450EUR.
The fee for accompanying persons is 130EUR, which gives access to the welcome reception and the conference dinner only.

We are pleased to solicit applications for a Thomas Metcalf Travel Award to support the participation of two early career scientists.
To be eligible, applicants must be members of the Solar Physics Division, and be within 4 years post-PhD or no more than 1 year pre-PhD at the time of the meeting.
The successful candidates will give invited talks and be profiled in the meeting program and introduced as Metcalf Lecturers. After the meeting, the lecturers must provide the SPD Metcalf committee with a one-page summary of their work suitable for public distribution on the Metcalf Award web site.
Application consists in writing a cover letter, abstract for a talk, a short CV, and name and email address of one reference whom the SOC may contact. Please send these materials to william DOT d DOT pesnell AT nasa DOT gov, no later than August 3, 2018.
Travel support for researchers in ESA member states
Students, early career post-docs and other members of the community working in institutions situated in ESA member states may apply for travel support and/or registration fee waiver. Applications for this support can be obtained by filling in this form and mailing it to registration-as AT stce.be before July 15 with "[SDO2018] ESA Travel support" in the mail subject.

Students in institutions situated in the USA may apply for a partial or full registration fee waiver. Applications for this support can be obtained by filling in this form and mailing it to registration-as AT stce.be before July 15 with "[SDO2018] registration fee waiver" in the mail subject.Cancellation of registration and reimbursement policy
A full refund (less 50 EUR administration fee) will be granted to participants unable to attend, provided written notice is received by e-mail (registration-as AT stce DOT be) on or before 15 september 2018.
A 50% refund will be granted to participants unable to attend, provided we are notified by e-mail before 15 October 2018.
We regret that we'll be unable to consider cancellation requests received after this date.
Please note that refunds will only be issued by bank transfer.
